Walt Disney Pictures is at it again. Come 2019, the studio will be releasing a live-action remake of the 1993 classic, The Lion King.
With the renowned Queen B, Beyoncé taking on the role of Nala and Donald Glover (yes, the Childish Gambino) playing Simba, it's enough to convince even the most pessimistic of the population to buy a ticket for this franchise. Joining them will be Seth Rogen as Pumbaa and James-Earl Jones, described by many as “one of the greatest actors in American history" as Mufasa. British comedian and political commentator John Oliver will be assuming his role as Zazu with Billy Eichner as Timon.
Check out the full cast below! Expect to see The Lion King in theaters 2019.
