Born and raised on Kaua'i, Starla Marie’s 6-song EP has a little something for everyone. From the hip hop power anthem and title track, PRIME, to the vulnerable BEAUTIFUL TO EVERYONE BUT YOU, to WONDER WOMAN, a tribute to our country's military wives, the songs on this EP are Starla Marie's most vulnerable and personal. Starla Marie and The Vanderveers (Automatic and Ebony Rae) are Executive Producers of the EP. Automatic has worked with Michael Jackson, Cher, Pink, Christina Aguilera, and many, many more. The Vanderveers are co-owners of inRage Entertainment—a multi-genre, full-service entertainment and production company in Los Angeles, with a current focus in artist development and music and content production. The pair has recently been working in K-pop with multiple global and Billboard-chart topping hits by XIA JUNSU (Uncommitted, Incredible, Rock The World) and Twice (I’m Gonna Be A Star).
This week, inRage and Starla Marie filmed the music video for PRIME at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa, featuring current players of the University of Hawai'i. The music video, directed by Damien Sandoval, is a dedication to the people and culture of Hawaii.
Throughout her career, Starla Marie has performed in Hawai’i for “Mayor Mufi Hannemann's Birthday Party Celebration”; at the "Ho'olaulea Waikiki”; and as a featured artist at the Pipeline Cafe. She has toured across the Pacific, Korea and Japan. Starla's hit songs and videos, have been licensed in the very popular game, “Dance Dance Revolution”.
